Booking.com's report is based on tracking searches between March 17 and April 6, with check-in dates between April 26 and May 1.

Accordingly, up to 75% of Vietnamese tourists are looking for cool destinations to escape the heat as the average temperature increases, so Da Lat is the most searched destination for the upcoming holiday.

In the top 10 along with Da Lat and Hoi An are other famous domestic destinations, mainly coastal cities such as: Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Phan Thiet...

Coastal destinations dominate the list, reflecting travelers’ preference (82% are interested in beach tourism) for waterfront locations because of the relaxation they offer.

Earlier this year, also according to Booking.com's data report, Hoi An topped the list of destinations most visited by domestic tourists during the 2024 New Year holiday.
