The house was solidly built, with brick walls, corrugated iron roof, tiled floor, and a usable area of nearly 60 square meters. The total construction cost was more than 150 million VND, of which the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the Ministry of National Defense supported 80 million VND to remove temporary and dilapidated houses for members of the Veterans Association in difficult circumstances. The rest was the family's counterpart fund and the help of working days from members of the Veterans Association and villagers.
Mr. Po Loong Den’s family is poor and has been living in a dilapidated temporary house for many years. The support to build a new house not only helps the family stabilize their living conditions but is also a great source of encouragement to escape poverty.
