Conference to introduce the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai), 2025

On August 20-21, in Kunming city, Yunnan province and Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province (China), the Center for Investment, Trade Promotion and Enterprise Support of Lao Cai province organized a conference to introduce information about the 25th Vietnam - China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai), 2025.

Attending the conference were leaders from relevant departments and units of Lao Cai province (Vietnam), including: Finance, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, the Provincial People's Committee Office, and the Provincial Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Business Support.

The conference was attended by leaders from various functional agencies and units on the Chinese side.

The conference was also attended by more than 60 businesses from both Vietnam and China.

At the conferences, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Lao Cai province (Vietnam), provided information about the 25th Vietnam-China International Trade Fair (Lao Cai) in 2025.

Accordingly, this year's fair, themed "Lao Cai and Yunnan - Connecting and Developing," will take place over six days (from November 19-24, 2025) at the Kim Thanh Exhibition Center, Lao Cai Ward.

The fair features 500-550 standard booths, with an exhibition area of ​​approximately 4,000 , including a special indoor prefabricated exhibition area, an automotive exhibition area, and a food court .

Participants include domestic and international economic organizations; associations and industry groups; and businesses from Vietnam, China, and third countries.

The exhibited items are diverse, including: agricultural, forestry, aquatic, and marine products; machinery, equipment, raw materials, chemicals, and construction materials; electronics, refrigeration equipment, and household electrical appliances; clothing and footwear; consumer goods; household wooden furniture, and handicrafts.

The fair prioritizes booths showcasing branded products that meet import-export requirements, as well as booths promoting investment, trade, and tourism.

Lao Cai province provides financial support to Chinese businesses for customs declaration procedures, health quarantine, animal quarantine, plant quarantine, and fees for using infrastructure, service facilities, and public utilities in the border gate area.

A new feature at this year's fair is the Megalive program, which introduces, promotes, and sells products directly at the event.

On the sidelines of the trade fair, the two sides jointly organized a conference to introduce mechanisms and policies for import and export, combined with business exchanges between Vietnamese and Chinese trade, service, and logistics enterprises.

At the conference, representatives from Chinese businesses expressed their desire to participate in order to connect with consumers and expand opportunities for networking and finding new partners.

Also at the conference, representatives from relevant units of Lao Cai province answered questions from businesses about the trade fair.

The Vietnam-China International Trade Fair, held annually on a rotating basis between Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China), is a large-scale economic forum featuring 600-800 booths from domestic and international businesses. Alongside the event, numerous networking and investment promotion activities are implemented, facilitating the signing of cooperation agreements between businesses from both countries.
