Training conference on general inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the state

From October 13 to October 14, 2024, the Department of Finance coordinated with the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance to open 2 training courses, with over 900 officials, civil servants, and public employees from provincial departments, branches, and public service units; districts, cities, communes, wards, and towns attending. Attending the conference were representatives of the Department's leaders and professional staff of the Department of Finance.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, comrade Pham Quy Duong, Deputy Director of the Department: The opening of the training course aims to update knowledge and skills in conducting a general inventory of public assets for units in a synchronous and unified manner, thereby assessing and understanding the current status of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State in terms of quantity, value, structure, current status of use, etc. This is the basis for perfecting policies and laws on management and use of public assets; serving the development of strategies and plans for local socio -economic development; serving the work of reporting on the management and use of public assets, providing information to prepare state financial reports, reports on thrift practices, and anti-waste according to the provisions of law.

After 2 days, the Conference listened to Lecturer Tran Thi Thu Ha - Chief of Office and specialist of the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance introduce and guide the implementation of the Project on general inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State so that trainees can clearly understand the viewpoints, objectives, methods; principles of inventory; specific instructions on how to declare inventory forms; instructions on using public asset inventory software.

At the end of the conference, the trainees grasped the contents, viewpoints, objectives, methods, principles of inventory, data entry on public asset management software, and then implemented them at agencies and units to ensure compliance with the project according to the Prime Minister 's Decision and the Provincial People's Committee's Plan.
