The Lang Son Provincial Journalists Association launched an emulation campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.

At the conference, delegates heard Plan No. 103, dated August 29, 2024, of the Provincial Journalists Association on the dissemination and organization of activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, with contents such as: propaganda work; organizing sports activities and singing festivals for journalists; promoting emulation movements, motivating and encouraging members and journalists in creating journalistic works; and awarding commendations... The implementation will take place regularly in 2024 and 2025, with a peak period in May and June 2025.

In particular, special attention will be paid to preparing for the main commemorative activities, including: summarizing and evaluating the organization and implementation of the National Journalism Award and the Lang Son Provincial Journalism Award; organizing the ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), meeting and honoring outstanding journalists and awarding the 5th Lang Son Provincial Journalism Award in 2025; an art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day; organizing an exhibition showcasing the achievements of 100 years of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day; and producing a documentary film commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism Day…

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association launched an emulation movement to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day with the following contents: promoting the role and responsibility of the leadership and management staff, heads of press agencies, the Provincial Journalists Association, and each member, journalist, official, and worker in implementing the emulation movement to effectively fulfill assigned political tasks.

Promoting traditional education, strengthening the cultural environment in press agencies and the culture of Vietnamese journalists, contributing to building a professional, humane, and modern press and media; accelerating the digital transformation of journalism; enhancing the social responsibility and civic duty of journalists…

During the program, the Provincial Journalists Association awarded the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Journalism" commemorative medal to 16 members of the Provincial Journalists Association; and presented Vietnam Journalists Association membership cards to 16 officials and reporters from the Lang Son Newspaper Branch and the Provincial Radio and Television Branch.
