At the workshop, researchers, scientists, and delegates focused on analyzing, exchanging, discussing, and clarifying a number of key issues such as: Basic theoretical issues on Party work and political work to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, and elite Army in the new era. Current status of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Party work and political work in building the Army and issues arising in the new era. Basic characteristics of the new era and influencing factors; from there, propose requirements to be thoroughly grasped, implemented, and solutions to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Party work and political work.

Speaking at the workshop, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc affirmed: The journey of more than 80 years of building, fighting, winning and growing of the Vietnam People's Army has always been closely linked to consolidating, promoting and improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of Party work and political work. Historical practice has proven that Party work and political work are an organic and inseparable part of the Party's leadership, the "soul and lifeblood" of the Vietnam People's Army; ensuring the maintenance and strengthening of the Party's absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Army; Our Army has always been a political force, a fighting force loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the people, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges, achieving glorious feats of arms, contributing greatly to the victory of the Vietnamese revolutionary cause through historical periods.

According to Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc: In the current context, many theoretical and practical issues need to continue to be thoroughly researched, systematically and convincingly explained in order to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of Party and political work to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern army in the new era.

Therefore, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc suggested that, after the workshop, the Organizing Committee should fully synthesize scientific arguments, approaches to new contents, solutions and recommendations and proposals from scientists and delegates. From there, advise and propose to the Central Military Commission, the General Department of Politics, agencies of the General Department of Politics; Party Committee, Board of Directors of the Political Academy, Party committees and commanders at all levels in leading and directing to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of Party and political work to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Army in the new era.
