The competition includes a performance, presentation, and presentation of traditional costumes, as well as a beauty contest for ethnic minorities wearing traditional attire.

On the afternoon of October 17th, in Cam Thuy district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Thanh Hoa Province Traditional Costume Performance, Introduction, and Presentation Contest and the Traditional Costume Beauty Contest in 2024.

Leaders of the Ethnic Affairs Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented commemorative flags to the participating teams.

The competition attracted 110 contestants from the districts of Muong Lat, Quan Son, Quan Hoa, Ba Thuoc, Lang Chanh, Thuong Xuan, Ngoc Lac, Cam Thuy, Thach Thanh, Nhu Thanh, and Nhu Xuan. The competition consisted of two parts: a team competition and an individual competition. For the team competition, teams participated in greetings, costume presentations, and public speaking. For the individual competition, each team selected one female contestant, aged 18-25, with an attractive appearance, to participate in a costume presentation, talent showcase, and a Q&A session related to the traditional costumes of ethnic minorities.

The Thanh Hoa Province Traditional Costume Showcase, Presentation, and Beauty Contest in Traditional Costumes in 2024 is one of the important tasks aimed at continuing to preserve and promote the value of traditional culture in Thanh Hoa province in general and among the ethnic minorities in the 11 mountainous districts in particular. It contributes to the advancement and completion of one of the six key programs set forth by the Provincial Party Committee's Executive Board, 19th term, 2020-2025. It also aims to introduce and honor the beautiful traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities in the mountainous districts.

The competition also provides an opportunity for contestants to meet, interact, and exchange experiences in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups; strengthening and consolidating national unity.
