On December 11, the Quang Ngai Department of Transport said that implementing work for people with disabilities in 2024, including exemptions and discounts for people with disabilities, the whole province has more than 1,000 people enjoying the above policy.

More than 1,000 people with disabilities in Quang Ngai will be exempted or have their bus tickets reduced in 2024.

Specifically, the number of severely disabled people exempted from road traffic tickets is 340 people and the number of disabled people receiving reduced tickets is 762 people.

It is known that in Quang Ngai province, there are currently two units directly operating public passenger transport by bus in Quang Ngai province with preferential policies, free tickets, service fees for people with severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities, and issuing discounted tickets for people with disabilities when participating in traffic by bus, namely Mai Linh Quang Ngai One Member Co., Ltd. and Quang Ngai Bus Station Joint Stock Company.

Quang Ngai Department of Transport said that in order to ensure exemption and reduction of fares for people with disabilities, in 2025 it will strengthen guidance, inspection and supervision of the implementation of regulations by two bus businesses.
