On September 4th, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province approved a project document to increase income for poor and disadvantaged people with disabilities in Cam Chinh and Cam Nghia communes (Cam Lo district) through cattle farming, funded by the Global Civic Sharing (GCS) organization.

The project aims to increase income for disadvantaged families with disabilities in Cam Chinh and Cam Nghia communes through cattle farming. Specifically, 45 households received loans of 16.6 million VND each to purchase cattle and received training in financial management; 150 households received capital support for repairing cattle barns. The total project funding exceeded 1.255 billion VND.
Of this amount, 747 million VND was refundable grant funding provided to 45 households for purchasing cattle; over 508 million VND was non-refundable grant funding used for technical training, providing project documents and technical assistance, and supporting barn repairs. The matching funds were provided by the households through the preparation of barns and grass seeds.
The project implementation period is 36 months from the date of project approval. The project owner is the Cam Lo District Farmers' Association, which is responsible for managing and implementing the aid.
