Over 16,000 military and police officers and soldiers braved the scorching sun to practice for the parade.

On the morning of August 13th, at the National Military Training Center 4, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security jointly organized the third rehearsal for the military parade and march, in preparation for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

Over 16,000 people participated in the combined training.

The joint training exercise involved over 16,000 officers and soldiers from various military and police units, along with a system of modern weapons and equipment, comprising 43 marching formations and 18 standing formations. Specifically, the military units included 26 marching formations, 11 standing formations, and 6 military artillery vehicle formations; the police units had 17 marching formations, 7 standing formations, and 8 specialized vehicle formations.

Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for commemorating major national holidays and important events over the next three years (2023-2025), attended the event to provide guidance, encouragement, and gifts to the participating forces.

Also attending were Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan; Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Minister of National Defense; and Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Commander of the Mobile Police Force, Ministry of Public Security .

In his motivational speech at the joint training session, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia commended all forces, especially those directly involved and contributing to the success of the joint training.

Mr. Nghia emphasized that these were sacred, very proud, heroic, and moving moments of the combined training exercise. He affirmed that this was the result of the contributions of all forces, from soldiers to commanding officers of all branches of the armed forces and supporting forces.

With that pride, Mr. Nghia hopes that today's generations, especially those directly involved in parades and marches, will continue to build upon the achievements made in many recent activities.

From there, we must be even more determined and steadfast, especially in terms of military regulations and procedures, military technical skills, ensuring the best possible health, the best weapons and technical equipment, and taking the best care of the lives of the forces participating in the parade and march, in order to successfully complete the upcoming tasks.
