On March 29, at Co Loa High School (Dong Anh district, Hanoi ), Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper in collaboration with universities and colleges organized the program "Dialogue, consultation, career guidance".
Choosing the right career to suit social trends

The program was attended by Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper Ngo Vuong Tuan, career counseling experts, representatives of universities, businesses, entrepreneurs and more than 2,000 high school students.

More than 2,000 high school students in Hanoi participated in the program.

The program "Dialogue, counseling, career guidance" is one of the activities in the series of career counseling programs in 2025 organized by Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper in coordination with universities and colleges to promptly provide high school students with useful and practical information about majors, advice on choosing schools and careers as well as meeting directly with successful people in the industry to help them understand and be motivated to pursue their dreams.

According to the Organizing Committee, 2025 marks an important milestone when the high school graduation exam takes place according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program with many innovations. This leads to changes in university admissions, posing an urgent need for counseling and career guidance to help students have the best preparation, choose the right career that suits their abilities and the development trends of society.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper Ngo Vuong Tuan delivered the opening speech of the program.

Continuing the success of the "Dialogue, consultation, career guidance" program series in 2024, journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper, said: "We are living in the era of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution with many dramatic changes, posing new requirements for human resources. Career orientation does not stop at choosing a stable job but also equips skills, creative thinking, and the ability to adapt to changes in the labor market. The enrollment consulting activities that Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper carries out not only help students get the necessary information about careers, but also play an important role in building high-quality human resources, contributing to the strong development of the country in the new era - the era of national development".

At the program, many 12th grade students expressed concerns about admission methods as well as things to keep in mind to optimize their chances of being admitted to prestigious universities.

Answering this question, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thu Huong - Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) said that the registration method for university admission in 2025 will remain stable as last year. However, all high school transcripts, high school graduation exam scores and individual exam results of candidates will be uploaded to the system and considered for admission in one round.

Candidates can register for majors and schools according to their needs, at both college and university levels. They can take advantage of the best results, in any way, to set their wishes, reducing costs and efforts.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thu Huong, the most important thing is that students must have goals and persevere and make efforts to achieve those goals. In addition, students should base on their own abilities and interests to choose a suitable career.

The program "Career Counseling Dialogue 2025" took place with the participation of many experts, speakers, and leaders of prestigious universities and colleges.

In addition, experts from universities answered students' questions about career orientation, choosing a major, choosing a school; and at the same time gave advice to students in choosing a career that is both suitable for their abilities and their favorite career.

Within the framework of the program, the 2025 Career Guidance and Admissions Consulting Day also took place, attracting the participation of universities and colleges in Hanoi.
