The Vietnamese golf team arrived in Thailand on December 6, ready to compete at the 33rd SEA Games at Siam Country Club - Rolling Hill (Chonburi).
Participating in this Congress, the team gathered 7 players: Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Le Chuc An, Le Nguyen Minh Anh and Nguyen Viet Gia Han.
According to the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), this force was selected from the national tournament system and through professional assessment by the Coaching Board, with the expectation of continuing the historic success achieved at the 32nd SEA Games.

Notably, this year's list lacks SEA Games 32 men's individual champion Le Khanh Hung. This means the young talent will not be able to defend the historic gold medal won in Cambodia in 2023. The fact that Khanh Hung is studying abroad in the US and has limited competition is considered the reason why he is not included in the final lineup.
At the qualifying tournament, Khanh Hung only finished third, giving up two direct spots to Nguyen Trong Hoang and Ho Anh Huy. The remaining two tickets selected by the Coaching Board belonged to Vietnam's No. 1 golfer Nguyen Anh Minh and the 2025 National Golf Champion Nguyen Tuan Anh, who is in good form with a series of outstanding results domestically and internationally.
The 32nd SEA Games saw Vietnamese golfers win 1 gold medal (Le Khanh Hung), 1 silver medal (Nguyen Anh Minh) and 1 bronze medal (men's team). Entering this year's Games, the team aims to win medals and maintain its position on the regional golf map.
SEA Games 33 (December 3-20) brings together athletes from 11 countries with 50 sports. Golf takes place from December 11-14 at Siam Country Club - Rolling Hill and will award 4 sets of medals: men's individual, women's individual, men's team and women's team.
