According to this source, the initial cause of the students' hospitalization was determined not to be poisoning. The reason for their hospitalization was attributed to the hot weather and excessive playing, leading to heatstroke and fatigue.

Regarding the incident, on the morning of March 21st, Marie Curie Primary and Secondary School held a meeting with the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department, the Health Department of Thu Dau Mot City, and the Thu Dau Mot City Health Center.

During the inspection, the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department's inspection team concluded that the incident at the school was not related to food poisoning. The team determined that the cause was likely related to the hot weather, the enclosed schoolyard, and the students' increased physical activity leading to dehydration and fatigue.

According to initial reports, on the afternoon of March 20th, more than 20 elementary and middle school students at the school were hospitalized for fatigue. Some students exhibited symptoms of dizziness and vomiting...

After being admitted to the hospital, the doctors examined and treated the children. Later, the group of students were discharged and advised by the doctors to monitor their condition at home.

Reportedly, Marie Curie Primary and Secondary School imports ingredients from outside sources to cook and serve lunch to students at the school.

The cause of the incident is being further investigated by the relevant units in coordination.
