The program takes place from February 20th to June 28th in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh). This is a special cultural, tourism , media, and arts event, the first of its kind to be held in Vietnam, aiming to raise public awareness and action on environmental protection and climate change response on a global scale.

Mr. Vu Minh Ly - Deputy Director of the Communication Center (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) - hopes that each small action of each person in the Ha Long 2025 Art for Climate program, when combined, will bring about great value, create motivation and promote energy transition, reduce emissions, and move towards common climate goals globally and in Vietnam.
The program will include a series of more than 20 activities, primarily taking place in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province. The series of activities is divided into 3 phases.
Phase 1 (February 20 - April 17) includes: event announcement, art exhibition, and auction to raise funds for environmental protection and heritage preservation.
Phase 2 (March 1-June 1) includes: the online art creation contest "Future on Earth", a seminar to raise awareness about environmental protection, and a competition for inventing tools and machinery for recycling waste.
The final phase (June 20-28) includes activities such as: the opening ceremony of the Ha Long Climate Art Festival 2025, a scientific seminar on global climate change, marine environmental cleanup activities, and tree planting – creating a "billionaire's garden"…
Specifically, the tree-planting activity – creating a "billionaire's garden" – is expected to involve more than 200 billionaires and influential people from around the world planting trees as a memento to create a tourist attraction and spread the message of planting trees and protecting the Earth.
