Over 2.7 trillion VND for integrated adaptive development in Quang Nam province

The overall objective of the project is to increase access to adaptive infrastructure services and enhance capacity for disaster risk-resilient development planning and management in project areas.

The project implementation location is in Duy Xuyen, Thang Binh, Nui Thanh districts and Tam Ky city.

The project will dredge the Truong Giang River, invest in a complex of flood drainage works in Tam Ky City, build many new bridges across the Truong Giang River, build lighting systems at bridges and access roads to the bridges with a total lighting length of more than 2.7km, and organize the recovery and liquidation of old bridges.

The project has a total investment of more than 2.7 trillion VND, of which the construction cost is more than 1.6 trillion VND. The project investment capital from ODA loans (from the World Bank) is more than 1.8 trillion VND, the counterpart capital is about 884 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2027.
