According to Lac Hong University, over the years the university has continuously expanded its exchange relationships with organizations, agencies, and businesses both domestically and internationally. Many students majoring in Chinese language in the Faculty of Oriental Studies who come from disadvantaged families have received scholarship support from the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and various businesses.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tan Lingyan, representative of the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Consulate General of China always values supporting universities in the southern region in developing strong Chinese language majors, encouraging talented and virtuous students to pursue their dreams through learning Chinese.
The Consulate General of China's scholarship is not only a material support but also a source of encouragement; we hope that the scholarship recipients will continue to persevere, achieve success soon, repay their debt to the nation, and become young "ambassadors" promoting the development of Sino-Vietnamese friendship.
