Honor X70 launched with huge 8,300 mAh battery

Honor has just launched the Honor X70 smartphone in China with the highlight being the giant 8,300 mAh silicon-carbon battery.

Silicon-carbon technology allows for a larger battery to be integrated into the Honor X70, which promises to provide a long-lasting user experience. But not only does it have a larger battery, this Honor smartphone also supports fast wired charging up to 80W, applicable to the 512GB version.

The phone is water-resistant up to 6 meters and can withstand temperatures up to 85 degrees Celsius. It is also shockproof when dropped from a height of 2.5 meters, with IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications. Users can even use the phone while wearing gloves. The device uses MagicOS 9.0 interface based on Android 15.

The Honor X70's camera is also notable, with a 50MP sensor that supports PDAF and OIS, although it only offers a single camera on the back. The 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,640 pixels offers a 120Hz refresh rate, while the maximum brightness of up to 6,000 nits is also a big plus.

The Honor X70 is now available for pre-order in China at a very attractive price, ranging from $195 to $280. The product comes in four color versions: black, blue, red and white, with an expected release date of July 18. It is likely that Honor will also release the product in other markets soon with the same name and some adjustments to the specifications.
