Press conference to inform the results of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

On the afternoon of September 24, immediately after the success of the 1st Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Congress Propaganda and Celebration Subcommittee held a press conference to quickly inform about the results of the Congress. Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the press conference.

Attendees included: Comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Tran Manh Loi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee's advisory and support agencies; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and other provincial organizations; the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; representatives of the leadership of central and local news agencies and press; representative offices, resident agencies, and resident reporters in the province.

At the press conference, Comrade Tran Manh Loi, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, provided an overview of the outstanding results of the Congress. After 2.5 days of diligent and serious work, in a spirit of democracy, unity, and innovation, the First Provincial Party Congress concluded successfully, becoming a major political event for the Party, military, and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

The Congress set forth key targets across the economic , social, environmental, Party building, and political system sectors. These include an average annual GRDP growth rate of 10.5% for the period 2026-2030; an average GRDP per capita of 95 million VND per year; a trained workforce rate of 72% or higher; an average annual reduction in the poverty rate of 3-4%; and a forest cover rate maintained at 62.2%.

Specifically, the Congress Resolution identifies 5 key tasks, 3 strategic breakthroughs, and 7 main solutions. These emphasize building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean, strong, and comprehensive; perfecting a streamlined, effective, and efficient administrative apparatus; developing the digital economy, green economy, and circular economy; making tourism a key economic sector; building a high-quality workforce; strengthening national defense and security; and expanding foreign relations.

At the press conference, reporters from various media outlets raised questions focusing on the feasibility of achieving socio-economic goals and targets, especially GRDP growth, tourism development, digital economy, improving human resource quality, and poverty reduction; solutions for reorganizing and streamlining the organizational structure and building a team of officials to meet the requirements of the new term; and methods and roadmaps for quickly implementing the Congress Resolution and creating clear changes from the beginning of the term...

These issues were addressed specifically and frankly by the provincial leaders. Accordingly, the province will focus on immediately implementing the key tasks and breakthroughs outlined by the Congress; issuing an Action Program and Implementation Plan for the Resolution that is consistent with the practical situation. Solutions for developing the digital economy, tourism, training high-quality human resources, and improving the investment and business environment were also emphasized, aiming to realize the goal of rapid and sustainable development.

Speaking at the press conference, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: The Congress was a great success, thanks to the close leadership and guidance of the Central Committee; the serious and principled preparation of the Provincial Party Committee; the sense of responsibility and dedication of cadres, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups in the province; and the effective support and contributions of the press agencies.

This Congress holds special significance as Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang merge, implementing a two-tiered government model, opening up new development opportunities but also requiring innovation in organizational structure, operational mechanisms, and development strategies. The documents presented to the Congress are meticulously and scientifically prepared, deeply reflecting theory and practice, clearly defining the direction for rapid and sustainable development until 2030, with a vision to 2045. This is the culmination of the wisdom, will, and aspirations of the entire Party Committee and people, demonstrating the determination to build a confident, self-reliant Tuyen Quang with a strong desire to rise.

The comrade emphasized that the success of the Congress is only the beginning; the important thing is to quickly put the Resolution into practice. Immediately after the Congress, Party committees, Party organizations, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations will promptly organize the dissemination of the Resolution, develop action plans, launch emulation movements, and awaken the spirit of unity, innovation, boldness in thinking and acting, determined to turn aspirations into reality.

A reporter from the People's Representatives Newspaper posed a question to the Organizing Committee regarding the contents of the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The comrade expressed his wish that the press would continue to accompany and contribute to spreading the spirit of the Congress, encouraging the entire Party Committee and people of the province to successfully achieve the goal of Tuyen Quang becoming a moderately developed, comprehensive, and sustainable province by 2030; and a developed, high-income province in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2045.
