In 2023, the Da Bac District Investment and Construction Project Management and Land Development Board organized bidding for 33 projects with a total of 137 bidding packages, including 102 packages not conducted online and 35 packages conducted online.
The total value of the bidding packages was over 236 billion VND; the total value of winning bids was over 231 billion VND, and the total amount saved through contractor selection was 4,754 million VND.
All of the above tenders were selected through a public and open bidding process on the national online bidding system, demonstrating objectivity, fairness, and transparency in the contractor selection process.
Recent inspection and audit reports have shown no errors in the bidding and contractor selection process. Also, in 2023, all bidding packages were publicly posted on the National Bidding Network System.
In the past, the implementation of projects has faced numerous difficulties due to the complex procedures involved in investment projects, which relate to multiple sectors such as planning, land, resources, and environment, and involve many departments and agencies. Furthermore, laws, decrees, and circulars are frequently updated and changed, affecting the progress of project implementation.
However, thanks to the efforts of the leadership and all staff of the Investment, Construction and Land Development Project Management Board of Da Bac district, difficulties have been overcome and the assigned tasks have been successfully completed. All projects have ensured progress, quality, and timely and effective use, meeting the aspirations and needs of the local people.
In 2024, the Da Bac District Investment and Construction Project Management Board continued to urge contractors to accelerate the progress of ongoing projects and commence new projects. They strengthened inspection, control, and supervision of project quality and progress; and regularly instructed contractors to strictly implement measures for disaster prevention, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, labor safety, security and order, and fire prevention.
Focus on completing the legal procedures for investment and auction projects to ensure timely progress and adherence to the district and provincial plans; promptly address any difficulties and obstacles related to the projects.
