The Y Yen District Party Committee has a new Secretary.

On the afternoon of November 29, the Y Yen District Party Committee announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee on personnel work.

According to the announced decisions, Mr. Dinh Duc Tuyen, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Y Yen district will retire to enjoy the regime from December 1, 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Manh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, ceased to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, was mobilized, assigned, and appointed by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Y Yen District, term 2020-2025, from December 1, 2024.

According to the personnel file, Mr. Nguyen Hung Manh is 54 years old, from Giao Huong commune, Giao Thuy district; he has grown up in the education sector and worked in the Youth Union in Nam Dinh province. He has held the positions of Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of My Loc District Party Committee (same province), Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and twice held the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

Ý Yên district is located in the west of Nam Định province; there are many famous craft villages such as Tong Xa bronze casting, La Xuyen fine art wood, Cat Dang grinding... Recently, after the reorganization, Ý Yên district has 22 communes and 1 town.
