Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy excellently surpassed representatives from 70 countries and territories to be crowned Miss International 2024 at the final round of the competition held in Tokyo (Japan) on November 12th.

The first runner-up was the beauty from Bolivia, the second runner-up was the representative from Spain, the third runner-up was the beauty from Venezuela, and the fourth runner-up was the representative from Indonesia.
In the Q&A segment, Thanh Thủy shared her thoughts on the changes in the education sector after the Covid-19 pandemic, when all activities shifted to an online format.
She argued that changes in working methods, environments, and approaches would significantly impact education. Students can explore learning opportunities through online educational platforms. This supports the sustainable development goal of quality education.
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, born in 2002, was born and raised in Da Nang . She is 1.76 m tall and has measurements of 80-63-94 cm. In 2022, she was crowned Miss Vietnam in the Tien Phong Newspaper pageant. Prior to that, she won the title of Miss Foreign Language University under the University of Da Nang and was the first runner-up in the 2021 Elegant Student Contest of Da Nang City.
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was the first Vietnamese representative to win the Miss International title. Before the competition, the beauty queen also received many positive reviews from the international beauty community.
The Miss International pageant is one of the three major beauty pageants in the world, alongside Miss World and Miss Universe. First held in 1960, it takes place annually in Japan.
