(GLO)- On May 30, Kbang District Youth Union and Kbang District Youth Union ( Gia Lai province) organized the 2023 contest "We tell stories about Uncle Ho".

The contest was attended by 23 contestants from primary and secondary school teams in Kbang district. In 10 minutes, each contestant told a story about Uncle Ho that had been published in books, newspapers and magazines.

With stories such as: Uncle Ho came to the children at Kim Dong orphanage; did you hurt when you fell; Uncle Ho's love for folk songs; three times meeting Uncle Ho; Uncle Ho visited the poor... brought to the listeners sacred and touching emotions about Uncle Ho; at the same time educating and raising awareness for children in particular and everyone in general about Uncle Ho's noble sacrifice, devotion to the country, for the people, simple lifestyle, thrift, patriotism, and boundless love for the people.

At each level of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes to the contestants with high achievements. In which, the first prize in primary school went to Bui Viet Kieu (class 3A2, So Pai Primary and Secondary School); the first prize in secondary school went to Nong Quynh Trang (class 9A1, Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School).

Through the contest, the team members and children in the district had the opportunity to exchange, learn, and draw meaningful lessons from the ideology and moral example of Ho Chi Minh ; from there, they continued to compete to study well, practice well to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.
