At the meeting, the Vietnam Business Association in Hungary introduced to Hai Phong city businesses 3 new technological materials with superior features in the construction and medical fields: GWR Nano liquid insulation; WLC material - producing concrete from waste to replace sand and gravel; and Safe Laser - a safe handheld laser machine for home use.

The Hai Phong City Business Association and the Vietnamese Business Association in Hungary signed a Memorandum of Understanding, opening up new opportunities for cooperation between the Hai Phong business community and Vietnamese businesses in Hungary.

The aim is to seek partners and expand opportunities for cooperation and investment in high- tech science and technology applications from Europe.

Both sides hope for more practical and meaningful cooperation, leading to technology transfer and collaborative production to create products that are guaranteed in terms of quality and reasonable price, and to expand consumer markets.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Vietnam, Baloghdi Tibor, highly appreciated the dynamism and creativity of the Vietnamese business community in Hungary, which has effectively connected and promoted the increasingly developing trade relations between the two countries.

Two-way trade between Vietnam and Hungary is expected to exceed $1 billion by 2025, and there is a desire for Hungarian and Vietnamese businesses to continue connecting and promoting bilateral trade.

In the context that Vietnam is focusing on implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, cooperation, experience exchange and investment connection with foreign partners, especially in the field of science and technology, are of great significance, contributing to attracting investment in Hai Phong.
