On August 31, Phu Quoc International Airport reported that there are currently about 100 flights taking domestic and foreign tourists to Phu Quoc to enjoy the September 2 holiday.
In addition, dozens of high-speed trains and ferries from the mainland are also bustling to take visitors to Hon Son, Nam Du and Phu Quoc islands.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Trieu - director of operations of the Nautilus yacht in Phu Quoc special zone - said that during the first two days of the September 2 holiday, international visitors came to the yacht to visit, take photos, walk on the seabed, and dive to see coral, an estimated 200 - 300 guests/day.
"Probably due to the rain and wind in the past few days, I don't see any tourists coming to visit the An Thoi island tourist site. People can choose to go to other places in Phu Quoc such as Grand World Phu Quoc or Hoang Hon town," said Mr. Trieu.

"During this National Day, my children are off so we chose to go to Phu Quoc because it is a beautiful and attractive tourist destination with many beautiful beaches, large entertainment areas, well-invested and also fireworks to celebrate September 2nd," said Mr. Nguyen Van Suu - a tourist from Hanoi .
In other tourist destinations such as Chau Doc, Sam Mountain, Cam Mountain, Tuc Dup Hill (O Lam Commune), Tra Su Melaleuca Forest or Palmyra Palmyra Field in Chi Lang Ward ( An Giang ), in the past few days, young tourists have chosen to travel on their own to take photos, visit and learn about the history of this land of seven mountains.
"Having the opportunity to return to An Giang, I took the opportunity to visit many tourist attractions such as Tuc Dup hill, Cam mountain, and then took pictures next to the beautiful green palm fields in Chi Lang," Ms. Luyen - a tourist from Can Tho - shared.
An Giang Province Department of Tourism reported that today An Giang welcomed more than 139,200 domestic and foreign visitors. Of which, Phu Quoc special zone is estimated to welcome nearly 22,000 visitors, nearly 5,000 international visitors; total revenue from An Giang tourism reached more than 158 billion VND.
