The Department of Tourism acknowledged the efforts of directors, managers, and staff of hotels and service businesses selected by the organizing committee who proactively inspected, reviewed, and prepared logistics for the congress.

To ensure security, safety and best preparation and service for the 13th Southeast Asian Student Sports Festival in Da Nang, the leaders of the Department of Tourism request that hotels strictly comply with and implement the instructions, guidance and deployment of the organizing committee, competent departments, agencies and branches during the entire duration of the festival.
The 13th Southeast Asian School Sports Festival took place from May 31 to June 9 in Da Nang with the participation of more than 1,300 athletes and coaches from sports delegations of 10 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Athletes compete in 6 sports: swimming, athletics, badminton, basketball, pencak silat, vovinam with a total of 107 events.
