BTO - This morning (January 26), the 20th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, opened at the Provincial Conference Center. Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh and the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council presided over the session.
Attending the session were Comrade Doan Anh Dung – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, leaders of departments, agencies, districts, towns and cities, along with 43 out of 49 delegates of the 11th Provincial People's Council.
In his opening remarks at the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that, in the urgent and vibrant atmosphere of the early days of the new year, the 11th Provincial People's Council is holding its 20th (special) session to discuss and decide on a number of important issues within its authority.
Accordingly, to ensure the timely allocation of budget funds for the implementation of national target programs and the prompt deployment of socio -economic development tasks from the beginning of the year, this session of the Provincial People's Council will consider, comment on, and decide on 12 submissions and draft resolutions presented by the Provincial People's Committee, as well as carry out personnel work within the authority of the Provincial People's Council.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council urged the delegates to uphold a high sense of responsibility and focus on thoroughly researching each item in order to decide on mechanisms and policies that ensure effectiveness and meet the requirements and aspirations of voters and the people of the province.
According to the agenda, the session lasted one day. Among the draft resolutions considered, commented on, and decided upon were the Resolution on the Capital Plan for implementing the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province in 2024; and the Regulation on the level of financial support for those assigned to directly assist those receiving education in communes, wards, and towns in the province.
The Provincial People's Council also considered and approved a Resolution on halting the investment plan for the Binh Thuan Provincial Specialized Archives Project; approving the investment plan for the project to upgrade and expand Road 230A in Dong Ha commune, Duc Linh district; and stipulating some contents and expenditure limits of the State budget for activities supporting the development of production linkages along the value chain and community production development under national target programs for the period 2021-2025 in the province…
