On December 6, the rest stop at Km534+310 Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Expressway in Cam Hung Commune, Ha Tinh Province, invested by Xuan Khiem Group Joint Stock Company, began to be temporarily put into operation. For now, this temporary rest stop is operating on one side in the North - South direction.

With the station area in the South - North direction being paved with asphalt concrete leading to the highway, the investor plans to put it into operation in the next few days.

Although it is temporarily exploited, the infrastructure at the rest stop at Km534+310 Ham Nghi - Vung Ang highway has been invested quite fully with a food court, fast food and souvenir shops, restrooms, basically meeting the needs of drivers and people.

The petrol station has also been invested in and installed with equipment. It is expected to be put into operation to serve drivers and people in the next 10 days after receiving an assessment and acceptance, ensuring fire safety from the competent authority.

The North-South expressway through Ha Tinh has a total length of 107.28 km and is arranged with 2 rest stops, of which 1 station is located at Km478+200 Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway in Duc Quang commune and 1 station is at Km534+310 Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway in Cam Hung commune.

The rest stop on the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang highway in Cam Hung commune has an area of ​​10 hectares (5 hectares on each side) invested by Xuan Khiem Group Joint Stock Company. The rest stop on the Dien Chau - Bai Vot highway in Duc Quang commune has an area of ​​6 hectares (3 hectares on each side) invested by the joint venture of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) - Thua Thien Hue Petroleum Company.

Xuan Khiem Group Joint Stock Company aims to officially put into operation the rest stop Km534+310 Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Expressway by April 2026.

A highway rest stop is a structure belonging to the road traffic infrastructure, built on the highway to provide services for people and vehicles participating in traffic, including free public services such as parking lots, restrooms, rest areas, temporary rest rooms for drivers, and commercial facilities such as restaurants, gas stations, and repair service stations.
