Bao Loc City organizes an Agricultural Products and OCOP Products Market to celebrate the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024, while introducing and promoting the City's typical products to tourists.
On December 13, at 28/3 Street, Bao Loc City People's Committee ( Lam Dong Province) organized the opening ceremony of Night Street - Local Agricultural Products and OCOP Products Market.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Lam Dong province and representatives of leaders of localities in the province.
Accordingly, Bao Loc City mobilized local authorities, production and business establishments, and enterprises in the area to participate in displaying, introducing, and promoting OCOP products and local agricultural products such as tea, silk, orchids, coffee, honey, cordyceps, orchids, and brocade weaving...
In particular, there is also an exhibition area of the Central Highlands gong culture space; spaces for displaying and demonstrating how to make and enjoy tea to serve locals and tourists for free; spaces for displaying and introducing silk products for locals to visit and shop; displaying and introducing the silk production process from growing mulberry, raising silkworms, letting silkworms spin cocoons, reeling silk to weaving and silk printing for locals and tourists to visit and enjoy.
The rural market displays beautifully designed miniatures, impressive with 30 booths recreating the traditional sales space with dozens of specialties and fresh agricultural products from three regions of the country.
The rural market opened for ticket sales right after the opening ceremony to serve locals and tourists. Coming to the rural market, each local and tourist only needs to buy a ticket of 50,000 VND to enjoy 7 dishes and drinks of their choice prepared at the stalls.
Along with that, at the Countryside Market, there are also folk games (such as tug of war, sack jumping) and art performances (folk music, traditional dance, modern music ...) to create a joyful atmosphere for locals and tourists.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Bao Loc City People's Committee Phung Ngoc Hap affirmed: Bao Loc has long been known as the "tea capital" and "silk land" of Vietnam. At the OCOP Agricultural Products and Products Fair, people and tourists from all over the world will be able to admire the most exquisite tea and silk products, each product containing a story about the harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. Thereby, bringing the best flavor and quality, not only serving the domestic market but also conquering international customers.
Coming to the market, visitors will discover countless unique orchid varieties, from natural wild orchids to elaborate hybrid orchids, contributing to embellishing the agricultural cultural picture of the B'Lao land.
The market is also a gathering space for unique agricultural products such as coffee, honey, cordyceps, bird's nest, clean vegetables and fruits... from communes and wards in Bao Loc City. Night Street - Agricultural and OCOP Product Market is not only an event to introduce products, but also a sincere invitation from Bao Loc City to people and tourists from near and far, to come and explore, experience and feel the beauty of the people, nature and culture of the peaceful, poetic and hospitable land of B'Lao.
Mr. Ngo Van Ninh, Chairman of Bao Loc City People's Committee, said that after the end of the Agricultural Products and OCOP Products Market, Bao Loc City will continue to implement the Night Street activity on 28/3 Street. The Night Street activity is organized every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening to create favorable conditions for people and businesses to trade and do business; at the same time, serving people to have fun, shop and develop the night-time economic model. After the implementation of the Night Street activity on 28/3 Street, Bao Loc City will evaluate the effectiveness to have a plan to expand the Night Street area to the entire Dong Nai Lake area (Bao Loc Lake) in the near future.
Night Street - Agricultural and OCOP product market takes place at all hours from December 13 to 15 to serve locals and tourists.
