Specifically, at the above time, Mr. BMG (born in 1987, residing in Ca Long hamlet, Tan Pheo commune) was driving a boat from Un village to Ca Long, carrying Mr. Dinh Minh Dao (born in 1986, residing in Team 4, Song Khua commune, Son La province). While moving through the above area, the boat suddenly encountered big waves and capsized.

Mr. Dinh Minh Dao was able to cling to a fishing net buoy and escaped; but Mr. BMG was missing.

Although the incident occurred in Song Khua commune (Son La province), immediately after receiving the information, Tan Pheo commune People's Committee quickly mobilized dozens of police officers, soldiers, militia and people to coordinate with Song Khua commune's functional forces to organize search and rescue that night.

However, the search work encountered many difficulties due to the complex terrain of the accident area, deep water, strong currents, and adverse weather.

On the morning of October 22, the authorities had yet to find the missing victim. The search is still being carried out urgently by the local authorities and authorities, and additional forces and equipment have been mobilized to expand the search area.
