Two tourists, Mr. KS (born in 1987) and Mr. TA (born in 1994, both Russian nationals), were climbing Mount Co Tien for the first time on the afternoon of September 3rd. By late night, both had lost their bearings, were exhausted, and called acquaintances for help.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police Department mobilized 6 officers and soldiers, in coordination with the Bac Nha Trang Ward Police and several professional mountaineers, to organize a search. Due to the treacherous terrain and darkness, it wasn't until around 1:30 AM on September 4th that the authorities were able to bring the two tourists down the mountain safely. Both are now in stable condition.
