Delegates pulled the ribbon to inaugurate the Great Solidarity House of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Nguyet's family, Tan Thanh commune. |
Charitable organizations have handed over support to the families of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Nguyet, Mien Tay village, Tan Thanh commune; and Mr. Hoang Van Cuong, Cay Da village, Binh Ca commune. The families are all poor households, living in old, degraded houses and unable to build new houses. Faced with that situation, the Charitable Association of Compassionate Arms, Yen Lang Parish ( Thai Nguyen ), Duc Ban Parish in coordination with the Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thanh and Binh Ca communes have called for funding to support the construction of houses for the families.
From the province's program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Ms. Hoa and Ms. Nguyet's families each received 60 million VND; Mr. Cuong received 50 million VND. The Compassionate Hands Charity Association and Yen Lang, Duc Ban Parishes and other benefactors supported Ms. Hoa's family with over 46 million VND, Ms. Nguyet's family with over 61 million VND and Mr. Cuong's family with over 80 million VND to complete their houses.
The Great Unity House has been put into use, helping families have stable housing and continue to improve their lives. Thereby, it has made an important contribution to the poverty reduction program and the goal of "leaving no one behind" in the locality.
