Digital transformation improves service quality

With the motto of "taking people and businesses as the center of service", the Provincial Social Insurance (PSI) implements digital transformation with specific actions, creating a strong breakthrough in administrative procedure reform, towards a modern, transparent and effective social security system.

People and businesses can perform most procedures electronically through the National Public Service Portal, Vietnam Social Security Public Service Portal, and the VssID application - Social Security Number. This is a fundamental shift in management and service methods, towards a modern administration, taking people's satisfaction as a measure of effectiveness.

To truly bring digital transformation into life, the provincial Social Insurance proactively organizes practical activities with digital booths that directly interact with workers, students; organizes propaganda associated with technology experience guidance; applies QR codes in propaganda...

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hao, Deputy Head of the Department of Propaganda and Participant Support, said: In October, many events were organized by the Provincial Social Insurance to respond to the National Digital Transformation Day. Typically, at the conference to propagate and disseminate unemployment insurance policies and the Social Insurance Law for employees receiving unemployment benefits in Ha Giang 2 ward, in addition to disseminating mandatory policies and some new points of the Social Insurance Law, employees were also able to participate in digital booths.

Here, workers are guided to look up the payment and benefit process and carry out social insurance procedures online, register and use VssID accounts. In addition, encrypted propaganda documents are also increasingly used to improve access to digital information, contributing to promoting the goal of "comprehensive digital transformation for the entire population".

With the determination to transform digitally, using technology as a driving force, the provincial Social Insurance has achieved positive results in the professional field. Up to now, the whole province has 105,556 people participating in compulsory social insurance, reaching 91.21% of the plan. The health insurance coverage rate reached 98.43%. The total revenue from social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance reached over 4,194 billion VND, equivalent to 85.72% of the 2025 plan.

Along with that, the work of settling and paying regimes and policies has been fully, promptly and in accordance with regulations. In the first 9 months of 2025, the provincial Social Insurance has settled monthly social insurance regimes for 3,026 people; settled one-time regimes for 14,816 people. At the same time, it has managed the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for more than 56,000 people.

This result is a clear demonstration that digital transformation is not only an administrative reform but has become a key driving force for the provincial Social Insurance to maintain stable and effective operations. At the same time, it enhances the flexible adaptability as well as the sense of responsibility of all cadres and civil servants of the provincial Social Insurance in the new conditions when operating a two-level local government.

With the motto of "taking people and businesses as the center of service", the provincial Social Insurance continues to promote administrative procedure reform associated with comprehensive digital transformation. Thereby, continuing to affirm its core role in the social security system, contributing to effectively implementing the goal of "Social insurance for the satisfaction of people and businesses".
