Attending the ceremony from Tuyen Quang province were Comrade Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association.

Seventy-five years ago (April 4, 1949), amidst the mountains and forests of the Viet Bac Resistance Zone, the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism was established. This was the first journalism training institution of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press and also the only one during the resistance war against French colonialism. The Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism was founded, named, and its operation directed by President Ho Chi Minh to the General Headquarters of the Viet Minh. The School's Board of Directors consisted of five members, with Mr. Do Duc Duc, Deputy Secretary of the General Headquarters of the Viet Minh, as Director; Mr. Xuan Thuy as Deputy Director...
On March 28, 2019, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a Decision classifying the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School site as a National Monument, located in the area delineated as plot 32, map sheet 47, Tan Thai commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province.
Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Le Quoc Minh, delivered a speech at the ceremony.
In 2024, the Vietnam Journalists Association, in collaboration with Thai Nguyen province, implemented a project to restore and preserve the national historical site of Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School in Tan Thai commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province.
The complex, built on an area of 859 m² , includes the following main components: an exhibition hall and a stilt house. The historical site features a bas-relief with 48 portraits of members of the Board of Directors, lecturers, and students of the school. A conference hall nestled within the hillside serves as a venue for conferences and seminars, with a capacity of over 150 people. A mini-square, covering 200 m² , is also available for events.
The delegates toured the grounds of the historical site.
The delegates visited the exhibition area displaying artifacts and documents about President Ho Chi Minh.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong and leaders of the Provincial Journalists Association and Tuyen Quang Printing and Services Joint Stock Company presented a vintage printing press to the Viet Bac War Zone Press Exhibition House.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed that after restoration and renovation, the historical site is expected to be used to welcome visiting groups, journalists returning to their roots, and students and pupils to study and experience the history of journalism; it will also be a venue for organizing conferences and seminars on journalism, short-term training programs, issuing membership cards of the Vietnam Journalists Association, and awarding regional and local journalism prizes.
Mr. Ma Van Chuc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Journalists Association, presented the exhibition house with the first issue of Tuyen Quang Newspaper published in 1965.
In particular, the Vietnam Journalists Association hopes that when the exhibitions about the Huynh Thuc Khang School of Journalism and the Viet Bac War Zone Journalism are put into operation, they will not only contribute to preserving and introducing valuable journalistic documents and artifacts from the 1946-1954 period, but also affirm the great achievements of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism in the struggles for national defense and in the process of national reconstruction.
