A memorable moment: March 31, 1975 - The decisive final battle.

March 31, 1975: The Politburo met and decided on a general offensive and uprising to liberate Saigon.

In late March 1975, our troops achieved successive great victories in the Central Highlands Campaign (from March 4 to April 3, 1975) and the Hue- Da Nang Campaign (March 5-29, 1975), inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.

On March 31, 1975, the Politburo met and determined: "The revolutionary war in the South has not only entered a stage of rapid development, but the strategic opportunity to launch a general offensive and general uprising against the enemy's stronghold has matured."

From this moment on, the final strategic battle of our army and people has begun, aimed at completing the national democratic revolution in the South and achieving peaceful reunification of the Fatherland.”

The Politburo decided to seize the strategic opportunity even more firmly, with the guiding principle: speed, boldness, surprise, certain victory, and a strong determination to launch a general offensive and general uprising to liberate Saigon as soon as possible, ideally in April 1975, without delay.

March 31, 1996: VTV3 television channel officially began broadcasting.

March 31, 2024: Opening of the "Vietnamese Language of Love" Class in South Korea

One year ago, on the afternoon of March 31, 2024, at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul, under the patronage of the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea, the Association of Vietnamese People in South Korea held the opening ceremony of the "Loving Vietnamese Language Class" to help children of Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families learn their mother tongue and contribute to preserving the beautiful traditional culture of the country.

Currently, there are approximately 300,000 Vietnamese people living and working in South Korea, of which more than 70,000 are women married to South Koreans.

Children born into a Vietnamese-Korean multicultural family not only have a distinct background but also a significant advantage. Proficiency in Vietnamese and a deep understanding of Vietnamese culture will provide them with more opportunities to develop their potential.
