Groundbreaking ceremony of agarwood cultivation using biotechnology in Thanh Hoa

Established in 2020, TTT is the only company in Vietnam operating in the field of agarwood cultivation using cavity carving and biological stimulation technology registered exclusively at the Vietnam Intellectual Property Office.

The groundbreaking event was attended by representatives of local authorities to exchange and grasp information about the forestry economic model associated with the conservation and development of the Aquilaria tree species.

Thanh Hoa Agarwood Garden is located in Dong Cha village, Cam Phong commune, Cam Thuy district, Thanh Hoa province, nearly 5 hectares wide with more than 3,000 Aquilaria trees over 15 years old, with a circumference of 70 to 90 cm. This is the 11th garden to be cultivated using TTT's exclusive biotechnology in the country.

TTT's biotechnology of cultivating agarwood on Aquilaria trees does not kill the tree, but on the contrary, creates conditions for the tree to grow and attracts symbiotic insects to the tree, which is the basis for creating agarwood with uniformity in quality, color, and scent equivalent to natural agarwood.

The dó bầu trees are drilled with holes and horizontal veins, then inoculated with probiotics. The yeast is re-inoculated after checking the inoculation efficiency every 6 months.
