Launching the 7th National Forum on Digital Technology Enterprise Development

The 7th National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology will take place on December 25, 2025 in Hanoi.

At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Science and Technology held on the morning of December 1, Mr. Truong Huu Trung, representative of the Department of Information Technology Industry, said that the 7th National Forum on Digital Technology Enterprise Development with the theme "Journey to create Make in Vietnam to innovate digital production, build a strong and prosperous digital Vietnam" will be held on December 25, 2025 at the VinPlace National Exhibition and Fair Center (Co Loa, Hanoi).

This is an annual Forum held from 2019 to present by the Ministry of Information and Communications, now the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The 7th National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises was held to continue to concretize the Party and State's major policies and orientations on developing digital technology industry, strategic industry, semiconductor industry, applying artificial intelligence (AI) in the Vietnamese way, promoting innovation and creativity, Vietnamese intelligence; connecting Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.

At the same time, the Forum contributes to creating a strong digital technology business ecosystem, helping socio-economic sectors and fields master the digital transformation process, contributing to the prosperous development of Vietnam in the new era.

The Forum is expected to attract 1,500 delegates, who are representatives of Party agencies, National Assembly agencies, Government leaders, leaders of ministries and local branches, representatives of domestic research and training organizations, associations in the fields of information technology, electronics and telecommunications, representatives of digital technology industry business groups, foreign experts and investors. It is expected that Party and Government leaders will attend and chair the forum.

Specifically, a representative of the Department of Information Technology Industry said that the highlight of the forum will be the demonstration of new technologies, such as robots, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Internet of Things (IoT), digital data, information security, and strategic technology products issued by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 131/QD-TTg dated June 12, 2025 promulgating the List of strategic technologies and strategic technology products.

The forum will also introduce the content of the Make in Vietnam implementation journey in the period 2020-2025 and the development orientation for the next period 2026-2030. At the same time, the Ministry of Science and Technology will also award certificates of merit to businesses and individuals who have actively contributed to the Make in Vietnam policy in the recent period.

Within the framework of the Forum, there will be a workshop with the theme "Mastering and developing strategic digital technology - Vietnamese digital technology enterprises reach out globally."

The highlight is the Make in Vietnam 2025 Digital Technology Product Award ceremony, honoring businesses with outstanding digital technology products designed, created, manufactured in Vietnam and of great practical value.

There is also an exhibition of excellent digital technology products and solutions, displaying excellent digital technology products and solutions for visitors to view, interact and experience in real life./.
