Festive atmosphere during Tet holiday at Sam mountain complex

When coming to Sam Mountain National Tourist Area, after visiting Ba Chua Xu Temple, tourists can also visit the surrounding relic complex and scenic spots such as Tay An Pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, and Hang Pagoda with unique architecture located on the mountainside.

In particular, visitors will experience the feeling of "riding the clouds" to see the whole view of Chau Doc - the border mountain town and immerse themselves in the peaceful Buddhist space at Ba Chua Xu Spiritual Cultural Tourism Area - Sam Mountain Cable Car.

More specifically, visitors can easily visit "Ba Be" located on top of Sam mountain.

From the cable car, you can see the whole view of Sam mountain peak and admire the meditating Buddha statue. With a height of 81m, it is considered the tallest and largest Buddha statue carved into a mountain in Vietnam. This project is under construction and is expected to be completed in 2025.
