It is forecasted that between November 5 and 6, the central East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone), the sea area off the coast of Da Nang - Khanh Hoa will be affected by strong winds of level 12-14, gusting to level 17, and waves of 8-10m high. The sea will be very rough.

Regarding maritime transport activities from Quang Ninh to Khanh Hoa, the Ministry of Construction requested the Vietnam Maritime Administration and Waterways to direct maritime port authorities and inland waterway port authorities to continuously monitor the developments and movement of the storm to notify and guide ships when granting permission for ships to leave port; count and strictly manage sailing and maintain regular contact with ships operating in the storm-affected area, including transport ships and tourist ships to promptly handle bad situations that may occur; check and guide anchoring at ports, especially anchoring areas around islands.

The Vietnam Maritime Administration directed the Quang Ngai Maritime Port Authority to coordinate with the Star Bueno ship owner and relevant units to promptly grasp the situation, assess the current situation to deploy measures to ensure maritime safety and security and prevent environmental pollution. At the same time, directed the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center to prepare forces and means to participate in search and rescue when ordered.

The dispatch also stated: The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam directs airlines and aviation service companies to closely monitor weather developments in areas affected by the storm, to adjust or change flight schedules accordingly to ensure absolute safety of flight operations.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam directed units to strengthen inspections of airports, terminals, communication systems, flight operations and command to promptly detect and handle incidents.

Vietnam Maritime Electronic Information Company Limited directs the coastal information station system to regularly monitor closely, update, immediately process information and promptly notify the location, developments and direction of the storm so that vehicles, captains of ships and boats operating at sea know and proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas.
