Kim Tu Long is one of the famous artists of the Cai Luong stage. After more than 4 decades of being attached to the stage, he is still persistent in his profession, often having a full schedule of performances, participating in television programs, accompanying activities to preserve and spread Cai Luong to the public.

Sharing with Thanh Nien , Kim Tu Long said that he is lucky to have a stable life and a successful business, so singing is now his passion. The male artist revealed that his salary for each show fluctuates around tens of millions of dong, but every time he receives an invitation from a state agency or television station, he always proactively arranges to participate with an appropriate level of support. Over the past few years, singer Phung Nghi Dinh has also maintained charity activities, raising funds at his own restaurant to support colleagues and backstage staff in difficulty.

Kim Tu Long mentioned the noise

Behind the stage lights, artist Kim Tu Long confided that what worries him is not only art but also unnecessary noise and gossip throughout his career. "Artists always try to maintain a good image in the eyes of the audience, but that does not mean they have to be perfect or cannot live a normal life like everyone else," he confided. For Kim Tu Long, just living a decent life, working seriously, and keeping his family free from gossip is enough to fulfill 90% of an artist's responsibility. He affirms that he walks the path of art with his own ability and always strives to contribute.

Recalling the scandals he had experienced, Kim Tu Long could not hide his sadness when recalling his failure in the 2022 People's Artist title review. The singer born in 1966 confided that at present he no longer thinks much about the People's Artist title. But what bothers him the most is the information about his gambling scandal in 2013, which had a heavy impact on his son's psychology. "My children have considered me an idol since they were young. When the incident happened, my children were teased by their friends at school. They saw it online and said, 'Your father was arrested for gambling,' which made my children confused and they came home crying to me," he recalled.

"I will continue to contribute to the Cai Luong stage. I just hope that one day, maybe when I am 70, 75 years old, or even after I pass away, I will receive the title. That is still the honor and happiness of my life. For now, I leave everything to fate. I just hope that the profession will give me enough health to sing for many more years. I still sing and still do my job with pride," the 6X artist confided.
