Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tran Phu Commune, Nguyen Nguyen Hung, provided an overview of the socio -economic development situation of the commune in 2025. Accordingly, in addition to positive results, the commune leaders frankly acknowledged some shortcomings such as: the rate of conversion of crop structure on rice land is still low; the work of removing obstacles in land management and granting land use right certificates for land areas of agricultural, forestry, stations and farms has not met the requirements. The implementation of online public services has progressed but is still limited, especially comprehensive public services; the application of digital transformation in socio-economic fields is still slow.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Phu Commune, Le Duc Tung, presented a report on the implementation results of the Commune People's Council Resolution on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in 2025 and the direction and tasks in 2026. Accordingly, despite many difficulties, the commune's economy still maintained its growth momentum, the basic indicators increased compared to the same period, completing and exceeding the assigned plan.

Average income per capita in 2025 will reach 79.55 million VND/person/year (equal to 107.2% over the same period; reaching 100% of the plan). There are currently 186 enterprises, cooperatives and more than 586 individual production establishments in operation in the area, creating jobs for 3,167 workers. The growth rate of production value increased by 8.5% over the same period and reached 100% of the yearly plan. The economic structure has changed positively, reducing the proportion of agriculture and increasing the proportion of industry, trade and services.
In the agricultural sector, the annual crop planting area reached 104.9% of the yearly plan; the situation of farmers abandoning their fields has been basically overcome, contributing to stabilizing production and increasing the value of the industry.

From the results achieved in 2025, the People's Committee of Tran Phu commune set a target for 2026: The growth rate of total product value in the area reached 9.3%; budget revenue reached 4,206 million VND; average income per capita reached 84.35 million VND/person/year; the rate of malnourished children under 5 years old was 0.18%; maintaining no poor households according to the new criteria of the City...
With the achieved results and specific orientations in 2026, Tran Phu commune hopes to continue to maintain growth momentum, improve people's quality of life and promote digital transformation and administrative reform, contributing to the completion of sustainable development indicators in the area.
