At the press conference, the reporter stated that the 13th Central Conference gave opinions on a number of personnel for the Politburo to decide to introduce at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly to elect the positions of Secretary General of the National Assembly, two committee chairmen and approve the positions of deputy prime minister and minister.

Besides the contents of legislation, supervision, decision-making on issues and policies on socio-economic development, personnel work is a highlight that voters and people pay special attention to.
She said that based on the decision of the Central Executive Committee and the submission of competent agencies, the National Assembly will consider and decide on a number of personnel matters within its authority.
Including the election, approval or dismissal of a number of key leadership positions in the state apparatus. This is a regular process to ensure succession, stability and effective operation of the apparatus in the new situation.
The entire personnel process, according to Ms. Ta Thi Yen, is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the law and is guaranteed to be democratic, objective, and transparent.
National Assembly deputies exercise their rights and responsibilities before the people through secret ballot, ensuring the principle of democratic centralism and proper authority.
The personnel work at this session is both a step to perfect the apparatus at the end of the term and to prepare for the 16th National Assembly term, creating a foundation for the state apparatus to operate more effectively and efficiently.
Under the leadership of the Party, the unity of the political system and the consensus of the people, personnel work will be carried out carefully and in accordance with procedures, contributing to consolidating voters' trust and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus.
Ms. Ta Thi Yen further informed that based on the decision of the Central Executive Committee and the opinion of the Politburo, at the 10th session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on a number of important personnel matters as mentioned by the reporter.
Currently, the agencies are completing the procedures and personnel records in accordance with the procedures. It is expected that the personnel work will be carried out on the first weekend of the session.
The steps of introduction, discussion and secret ballot will be carried out strictly, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures on personnel work and ensuring democracy, objectivity and transparency.

The 10th session did not organize question and answer sessions.
According to Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien, the 10th session held a preparatory session, opening on the morning of October 20 and expected to close on December 11. The working time of the session is expected to be about 40 days.
At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 66 groups of contents, including considering and approving 49 laws and 4 resolutions on legislative work. This is the session with the largest number of legislative contents since the beginning of the 15th term.
The National Assembly will consider and decide on 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.
