Lam Dong provincial authorities have allowed people and vehicles to temporarily resume traffic on Prenn Pass on specific days and times, after a 20-hour suspension to fix landslides.
On the morning of December 5, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province issued a notice to temporarily reopen traffic on the Prenn Pass road, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong province, from December 5-7.
Accordingly, people and vehicles (except trucks) are allowed to temporarily circulate on the Prenn Pass route. Specifically, on December 5, vehicles are allowed to circulate from 9:00 to 22:00; on December 6 and 7, they are allowed to circulate from 5:00 to 22:00.
As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on the afternoon of December 4, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province issued a notice on traffic diversion and organization on Prenn Pass to serve the work of overcoming landslides on the slope and cutting down trees at risk of falling, causing traffic insecurity.

According to records, from the evening of December 4 to the morning of December 5, Lam Dong Province's Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 and the construction unit mobilized many machines, vehicles and forces to urgently handle the landslide on Prenn Pass, section Km224+600-Km224+700.
A large amount of soil, rocks and trees that slid down the pass road have been cleared; at the same time, the forest management unit has cut down and treated pine trees on the top of the slope that show signs of being uprooted and at risk of falling.

Outside of the above time frame, vehicles can actively move in the following directions:
* Mimosa Pass: All types of traffic are allowed in two directions.
* Sacom Tuyen Lam Pass: All vehicles (except trucks) from Lien Khuong highway turn left onto Sacom Tuyen Lam, to Da Lat center and vice versa.
* Ta Nung Pass (DT.725): All types of vehicles are allowed to travel in two directions towards Ta Nung Pass.
