On the afternoon of October 28, Mr. Vo Tien Trung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Son commune ( Lam Dong province), said that by noon the same day, floodwaters on the Luuy River had receded, the section of National Highway 1A was no longer flooded, and vehicles were able to travel normally in both directions.

Earlier, in the early morning of October 28, heavy and prolonged rain caused floodwaters on the Luỹ River to rise and overflow onto National Highway 1A (the section passing over Ông Vạt Bridge, Lương Sơn commune). The flooded area extended for about 100 meters, with some sections nearly 1 meter deep, temporarily cutting off traffic in both directions.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the People's Committee of Luong Son commune, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong province and the Road Management Office IV.1 (Vietnam Road Administration), deployed officials to regulate traffic in the flooded area. Subsequently, vehicles traveling near the flooded area were directed to the Hoa Thang coastal road and then onto the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway to avoid the flooding.
According to the People's Committee of Luong Son commune, the flood situation on the evening of October 28th is predicted to remain complex. The commune's functional forces and related units are on duty 24/7 to promptly handle any potential incidents.
