On the afternoon of October 28, Mr. Vo Tien Trung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Son commune ( Lam Dong province) said that by noon of the same day, floodwaters on the Luy river had receded, National Highway 1A was no longer flooded, and vehicles were moving normally in both directions.

Earlier, in the early morning of October 28, heavy rain continued, causing floodwaters on the Luy River to rise and overflow onto National Highway 1A (section passing Ong Vat Bridge, Luong Son Commune). The flooded area was about 100m long, with some sections being nearly 1m deep, temporarily cutting off traffic in both directions.

Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Luong Son commune coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Province and the Road Management Office IV.1 (Vietnam Road Administration) to arrange officers to coordinate traffic regulation in the flooded area. Afterwards, vehicles moving near the flooded area were guided to move to the Hoa Thang coastal road and move onto the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway to avoid flooding.
According to the People's Committee of Luong Son Commune, the flood situation on the evening of October 28 is forecast to be more complicated. The functional forces of the commune and related units are on duty 24/24 to promptly handle any incidents that may occur.
