Subsequently, the Prime Minister will consider and decide on the number of holidays for the Lunar New Year and National Day (September 2nd). After approval, the Minister of Home Affairs will issue a notice regarding the holidays in 2026, in accordance with Decree No. 128/2025/ND-CP regulating the delegation of authority and decentralization in state management in the field of Home Affairs.
Regarding the 2026 holiday schedule, the Ministry of Interior has also made thorough preparations to promptly issue official announcements to officials, civil servants, employees, and businesses. This will allow employers to proactively arrange their production and business activities accordingly.

Furthermore, the ministry will seek the Prime Minister's opinion on the specific dates for the Lunar New Year and National Day (September 2nd) holidays, based on actual conditions. This is also a regulation based on the Labor Code.
