During the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, Vung Tau beach (Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City) welcomed a large number of tourists from the southern provinces and cities, creating a vibrant atmosphere and bringing positive signals to the local tourism industry.

Vung Tau beaches crowded during September 2nd holiday

At Bai Sau, tens of thousands of visitors come to play and swim every day. Many central routes such as Thuy Van, Quang Trung, Hoang Hoa Tham, etc. are often slightly congested, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Besides swimming in the sea, tourists also gather at famous attractions such as the statue of Christ the King, the lighthouse, Hon Ba, Ho May tourist area or Tam Thang Square, the "new symbol" of Vung Tau.

These entertainment venues all recorded a number of visitors many times higher than normal days. Hotel room occupancy during the holiday reached an average of over 90%, many 3-5 star hotels along the coast were fully booked early.

The streets are also crowded with tourists.

The highlight of this year's holiday is the art space and water music at Tam Thang Square, which has just been inaugurated, becoming the "hottest" check-in spot.

In addition, some street art performances and beach sports activities also contribute to creating a vibrant atmosphere, keeping tourists longer.

To serve the sudden increase in visitors, the government and functional forces have increased patrols, traffic diversion, and arranged rescue forces on duty 24/7 at the beaches.

Vung Tau Ward also stepped up inspections of price postings and food safety and hygiene, preventing price gouging. Thanks to that, during the 4-day holiday, security and order were maintained, and no major unfortunate incidents occurred.
