The ancient Gothic architecture of Lang Song Minor Seminary is a highlight that attracts tourists.

Despite more than two centuries of renovations, the spirit of the original architecture is still almost intact. Walking in the campus shaded by ancient black star trees, visitors will feel the peaceful, quiet space, completely separate from the noise of modern life.

The cradle of Vietnamese script

Not only is it a unique architectural work, Lang Song also holds a particularly important position in Vietnamese history. This place is considered one of the places that marked the first footsteps of Portuguese missionaries on their journey to spread religion and develop the national language from the beginning of the 17th century.

The ancient corridor inside the Minor Seminary evokes a feeling of silence and nostalgia.

In particular, Lang Song printing house, one of the first printing houses in Dang Trong, was established here. The birth of the printing house contributed significantly to the popularization, formation and development of the Latinized writing system for the Vietnamese people, laying the foundation for modern Quoc Ngu script.
