City Police leaders visit members of the grassroots security team injured while on duty

(CT) - On August 6, Colonel Bui Duc An, Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police, along with a working delegation and Dong Phuoc Commune Police, visited Can Tho Central General Hospital to visit, encourage and present gifts to support comrade Bui Tan Tai, a member of the Dong Phuoc Commune Security and Order Team who was injured while on duty. The Deputy Director directed Dong Phuoc Commune Police to continue to care for, visit and encourage comrade Tai's family to overcome difficulties, rest assured to receive treatment and recover his health.

Previously, on the night of August 3, Tan Tai coordinated with the local police force to patrol and ensure security and order in the area, inspecting and handling two subjects who were driving a motorbike carrying weapons and showing signs of resisting the police force. While chasing the subjects on a motorbike, Tai was suddenly kicked by a subject on the side of the motorbike, falling, with a closed fracture of the back ribs and a dislocated vertebra. The task force promptly controlled the subjects and took Tan Tai to the hospital for emergency treatment. The case is currently under further investigation and handling.
