On August 14, Vice Chairwoman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, together with the Provincial Labor Federation, the Department of Health and related units visited workers in the previous suspected food poisoning case at Bo Hsing Company Limited, who are being monitored and treated at Hoa Phu Regional General Hospital (Long Ho).

At this medical facility, there are currently over 100 patients who are company workers being treated. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh visited the health, gave gifts, and encouraged the workers to return to work soon. Bo Hsing Company Limited also gave gifts to encourage the patients here.

Authorities updated the situation of workers at Bo Hsing Co., Ltd. suspected of food poisoning as of the morning of August 14, saying that 223 cases had been examined, hospitalized, and treated at medical facilities in the province in the past few days. To date, all cases are in stable health. Some cases are in stable condition and have been discharged from the hospital.

Previously, Vinh Long Newspaper reported on a suspected food poisoning incident at Bo Hsing Company Limited located in Hoa Phu Industrial Park (Hoa Phu Commune, Long Ho). Accordingly, after eating lunch at the company, workers experienced symptoms of stomachache, vomiting, diarrhea... causing many to be hospitalized for monitoring and treatment.
