Provincial People's Committee leaders received and worked with the delegation of Jeju City, Korea

On April 15th, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, met and worked with a delegation from Jeju City, South Korea, led by Mr. Park Sung-Jae, Chairman of the Jeju City Marine Sports and Recreation Association.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides provided information on geographical location and socio- economic situation; exchanged and discussed activities and programs for cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, and health, aiming towards signing a friendly cooperation agreement between the two sides. In the near future, the Jeju City delegation hopes to carry out projects to build small libraries, provide computers, televisions, and learning materials for underprivileged elementary school children in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City; and conduct projects to support medical equipment as well as volunteer dental treatment for disadvantaged people living in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City. On this occasion, the Jeju City delegation respectfully invited provincial leaders and relevant departments to attend the "Jeju Super Cup International Kiteboarding Competition" held on Jeju Island, South Korea.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with the delegation from Jeju City, South Korea.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his pleasure and honor in welcoming the delegation. With similar potential and strengths, the province hopes to share information to explore possibilities and opportunities for bilateral cooperation with Jeju Province and the Jeju business community in particular, and South Korea in general, in the coming time; to soon establish official friendly cooperative relations between the two localities; and to promote exchanges in many fields.
