Provincial People's Committee leaders received and worked with a Taiwanese (Chinese) business delegation surveying investment in the province.

On the afternoon of April 3, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting and worked with the delegation from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City and foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises to survey the investment environment in the province.

Also attending the meeting were Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Director of the Southern Investment Promotion Center under the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance and Mr. Han Quoc Dieu, Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen highly appreciated Ninh Thuan's potential in the field of renewable energy, which is in line with the interests of Taiwanese (Chinese) enterprises. Through field surveys at Du Long Industrial Park (Thuan Bac) and Phuoc Nam Industrial Park (Thuan Nam), Taiwanese enterprises also expressed their interest in the investment environment in Ninh Thuan, especially preferential policies and priority investment sectors such as aquaculture, renewable energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture and logistics.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee welcomed the delegation and affirmed that Ninh Thuan always welcomes investors. He also informed that there are currently 4 projects of Taiwanese (Chinese) enterprises operating in the province with a total investment capital of 26.17 million USD.

Ninh Thuan is focusing on calling for investment in 5 key areas: Energy and renewable energy, high-quality tourism, manufacturing and processing industry, high-tech agriculture, construction and real estate. The province is committed to continuing to reform administrative procedures, creating a transparent and professional investment environment, and accompanying businesses throughout their operations in the province.

* In the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Director of the Southern Investment Promotion Center under the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance, had a working session with the leaders of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Ninh Thuan province.

At the meeting, Mr. Truong Van Tien, Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, introduced an overview of the Center's operations; presented a video introducing the province's potential, advantages and achievements in socio-economic development; and briefly reported on competitive advantages and investment incentive policies in industrial parks and clusters.

At the same time, it is recommended that the leaders of the Southern Investment Promotion Center - Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Finance) continue to support Ninh Thuan province in building a database of strategic investors; providing information on the operations of FDI enterprises; supporting training in investment and trade promotion; organizing seminars and sharing experiences to connect and attract investors in the Southern region and abroad to Ninh Thuan to learn, invest and develop together.
